Brother I really wish you had not debated with this guy he is no authority on islam and he is just someone what is not worth it IMO.
Why did you debate him? What benefit was there brother?

Wa alaikum assalaam, alhamdulillah, thank you for the advice. I thought it would be a good opportunity to dispel doubts he and those who listen to him might have. I thought in the end it turned out to be beneficial on balance and that I was able to address many of those doubts. I appreciate your feedback and I will continue to think about it.
